Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS – HILLTOP MANOR

1. A BOOKING MADE WITH HILLTOP MANOR CONSTITUTES A CONTRACT COVERED BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS WILL RESULT IN THE GUEST/S BECOMING LIABLE FOR THE FULL AMOUNT DUE FOR THE PERIOD BOOKED, UNLESS WE ARE ABLE TO RE-LET SUCH ACCOMMODATION AT SHORT NOTICE.

2. A 50% DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE ACCOMMODATION. BOOKINGS MADE WITHOUT A DEPOSIT ARE NOT DEEMED TO BE CONFIRMED BOOKINGS AND THEREFORE THE ACCOMMODATION CAN BE RE-LET IF THE DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE AGREED PAYMENT TIME. THE REMAINING 50% DEPOSIT IS DUE UPON ARRIVAL.

3. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION OR NON-ARRIVAL AS FOLLOWS :-

3a. Cancellation between 21 to 28 days – forfeit 25% of deposit 3b. Cancellation between 14 to 21 days – forfeit 50% of deposit 3c. Cancellation between 7 to 14 days - forfeit 75% of deposit 3d. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival – forfeit 100% of deposit

4, CHECK IN TIME is from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. - unless prior arrangement is made with us. A surcharge may be levied for late arrivals (after 9.00 p.m.) unless prior special arrangement is made with us.

5. CHECK OUT TIME IS 10.00 a.m.

6. NO PERSONS OTHER THAN THOSE QUOTED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, WILL BE PERMITTED TO SHARE THE ACCOMMODATION. IN THE EVENT OF ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARRIVING, THEY WILL BE CHARGED THE REGULAR RATES.

7. PAYMENTS – We accept all Credit Cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS & AMERICAN EXPRESS), but regret that currently we do not have the facility to process DEBIT CARDS. Payment can also be made by EFT and Direct Deposits – proof of such deposit to be provided beforehand.

8. ONCE THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED, THEN IT IS DEEMED THAT THE GUEST HAS AGREED TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
